We can accommodate up to 14 people in our vacation home.
OUR FARM
The Petrus Wittebrood Hoeve is a historic farm at the entrance of the Flemish Ardennes and the Zwalm region. It is located on a property of seven hectares of meadows, forests and a small river. We also live in the 17th century farm, the South Wing of the farm was converted into a luxury self-catering holiday home in 2003 and completely renovated in 2016.
DOMAIN
We offer you a spacious holiday home and a large private garden. There is an unhindered view on the MunkBosbeek Valley.
The “Petrus Wittebrood Hoeve” is located on a 7 hectare estate. Many guests like to spend most of their day at the domain. You can make a walk of 1 km following the white-blue dots, without leaving the domain of the Petrus Wittebrood farm.
VLAAMSE ARDENNEN
When you arrive in the Vlaamse Ardennen, you immediately will get that holiday feeling. You will enjoy the countryside and nature with it’s ancient hollow roads, forests, rolling meadows and streams.
You can walk to the water mills near the Zwalm river, to the beautiful Schelde valley, to idyllic villages such as Dikkele, Paulatem, Munte, Velzeke, Roborst…
Go ahead… There are plenty of places to eat, to have a drink and to take a rest in between.

This has been a memorable weekend. The accomodation is excellent with lots of character. The view is very pretty and the sheep and donkeys add to it. The cats are very friendly and we just managed not to fall for their charms. It is a very interesting area and the chocolates are irresistable ! We hope to come back again and spend longer next time.

We have enjoyed our two weeks here very much. The Zuiderhuis is very comfortable – a real home from home-. We settled in very easily and enjoyed the peacefull surroundings. We have liked exploring the local area, particularly the markets and the small villages. It has also been really easy to use the train to travel to Gent, Brugge, Antwerp and Brussels. Thanks for a very pleasant and relaxing stay. We would certainly like to return again some day.
